TechChill 2019 RIGA LATVIA
February 21, 2019 - February 22, 2019€199
TechChill – Having grown from a small grassroots movement of like-minded tech enthusiasts, TechChill celebrates the best of the Baltic startup community by annually bringing together 2000+ attendees, including the fastest growing startups, most innovative corporations, investors active in the region and talented tech enthusiasts. TechChill is organized by a non-profit foundation of the same name, empowering the Baltic startup ecosystem throughout the year.
This year is no exception – the two-day agenda at TechChill 2019 will feature 70+ speakers and 20+ side events, as well as some legendary afterparties.
We are happy to announce that for the 2nd year Portāls Virtual Reality Riga together with Learn IT and ROBO HUB will run workshops and activities for children ages 0-12 at the Future Founders Playground at TechChill 2019.
During the two days, there will be a variety of workshops, activities, and games in robotics, coding and virtual reality tailored for each age group. Find out more and register for workshops here:
With Portāls VR the future founders will not only have the opportunity to play the latest VR games but also experience the creative side of virtual reality. We will show the unique features of virtual reality that enable you to draw in space using various VR tools and to get “immersed” in one’s own creations.
TechChill has always been organized by the community, for the community. TechCrunch Baltics, the first edition of TechChill, was organized in partnership with TechCrunch as a launch event of the first co-working space for startups in Riga – TechHub Riga, in 2012.
At its inception, TechChill was one of the many projects at TechHub Riga. But in 2015 Marija Ručevska took over the project and brought it to the next level – adding global ambition, growing the team and event x2 each year. By 2017, TechChill outgrew its role as a “side-project” at TechHub Riga and was established as an independent non-profit foundation, empowering the startup ecosystem throughout the year.
In a span of just 6 years, what started as a community gathering grew into to two-day conference bringing together 2000+ attendees, while still maintaining a relaxed atmosphere and its signature size that fosters connection-building.
